Jani Marok learned the craft of leadership as an officer in the Royal Marines, finishing his 21 year career as the Commanding Officer of the prestigious Commando Training Centre. He co-founded the C Group, a charity which helps mobilise the business community in support of the Royal Marines. In 2009, he was selected by Sir Clive Woodward to join his team of 4 to develop the British Olympic Coaching Programme which gave Jani a real insight into the world of elite sport and the opportunity to link world class leadership experience with elite sport.
Jani established Marok Associates with the sole purpose of pulling together expertise from a range of fields in order to create bespoke solutions for organisations wanting to rise to new heights of performance. With this business model, organisations from all sectors can be assured of a tailor-made solution using recognised experts to deliver the best results possible.
As well as having over 20 years of leadership experience in a variety of situations across the globe, Jani is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management as well as a Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society. He is a qualified practitioner of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator psychometric profiling tool. He is also a member of the well-regarded Devon Futures think tank.
